As Good As It Gets

This weekend has been great, for more reasons than one.  First of all, we had General Conference, which came not a moment too soon.  I spent a lot of time laughing with my sister and having Stevie Wonder dance parties in the kitchen into the wee hours of the night. Just like before she became all old (25 years) and married (and had one cute little boy).

 This afternoon, my parents and I took the Jeep out for a Sunday drive in the canyon.  There is no better time for canyon drives than in the early Fall.  My absolute favorite thing about Autumn is to see one single tree, covered in red leaves, surrounded lots of trees that haven't changed colors yet.  Your eyes shoot right to it.  It's just so pretty to see that one red tree sticking out in a field of green ones.  It's almost like it's all you can see, because it's so bright and different from all the others. A splash of color that makes everything around it seem so dull.  I really love that.
