BEN is more than two consonants and a vowel.

Thank goodness for my guitar.  For me to strum the heck out of when I'm fired up.  For calming my nerves when I can't keep myself together.  For stopping my tears when I can't calm myself.

It's the best coping method I have--  for everything.  And it's a good one.

There's more to me than that.

I love playing guitar and I love singing, and I'm glad I started. I'm not spectacular. I'm pretty average. I just wish that some people knew more about me than that.  I don't like when the only thing anyone can say about me is how they thought I did a good job of playing guitar a year ago. It makes me feel kind of shallow There is more to me than a mind that writes lyrics and hands that strum a guitar.

Get to know me better.  I would like that. There's better parts to my story than that.  I'd love to know more about you, too.

Don't get me wrong,  I love getting compliments about playing guitar or anything really.   Who doesn't?  It's nice to get boosts of confidence every once in a while.

If you asked me to play for you, I'd love to, and I'd love for you to sing along as well.  Maybe have a nice talk over a PB&J.  Ones without crust if you prefer.

I want to be a good friend.

Enjoy the Ride,

Ben

This is a lovely post, Ben! I am glad that we are friends and I truly hope to always be your friend. You're a great person and I like our times on the bus. Lets play again.

P.S.- I already have our adventures planned for when the warm weather comes around again. It'll be good.

Thank you all, sweeties.

Avery,
I wish I knew you better, as well. I think we can fix that. Yes?

Sarabeth,
Thanks, pal.

Ally,
It's a pleasure to have known you for so long. I enjoy the bus rides just as much as you do. Whatever these warm weather adventures are, I'm excited and I know you won't disappoint. You never do. In fact, they will probably be better than expected.

Ben.
