I Made It

My worries are gone and I made it. In all my free time I've pondered my thoughts about the New Year ( yes, I know it's February) and the past few months. I thought I'd share a little.

“Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.”
-Gilda Radner

We've all  heard the phrase 'Endure to the end', and it's a great phrase to live by, but I've been thinking and I think it can be taken one step deeper.  Life isn't just about getting through it.  It's not simply about surviving.  Life is about experience and learning, and that's why we're here.  We aren't given trials and challenges just so we can get through them.  We are given trials so we can learn from them.  We are challenged so that we can become more experienced, more fit, better people.

Everybody learns from disaster.

Let us not just endure to the end, but let us endure it well and with gratitude and thankfulness to the Lord.  And no matter how crazy it might sound,  thank Him for your struggles.

My weekend was FANTASTIC.  I made some new friends and had tons of fun with them. I loved being with them and just talking about life.  I wish that happened all the time. But my weekend was also filled with old friends, that I love very, very much.  It was a perfectly balanced weekend.

This week is going to be fantastic.  I have a completely full schedule of outrageously fun things.  I haven't been this excited in a long time (since Christmas).

I hope you guys have a week as good as mine's going to be.

Cheers

Enjoy the Ride,
Ben
