So first, it was my birthday, and a fantastic one. Ally gave me this suuhweet hollowed out books with all sorts of essentials to being an adventurer inside it. My birthday was a happy day. I took a few moments to look back and see how far I've come, and let me tell you, it's far. It's amazing to see how much I've changed in just one year.

| It's like this, but better. |
On Wednesday, I went on my first date with Rachel, and Dane and Emily came along. We went to Roxberry and got some Fro-Yo. Emily laughed really hard and did this funny thing where her eyebrows slant down that is quite hilarious. Also, she made a pretty big mess on the floor and we all just watched it drip and laughed about it. Good day.
Thursday: Rachel and I had a surprise birthday party, but not the traditional kind. Rachel and I knew. In fact, we planned the whole things and fooled everyone. Everyone except Emily, who was our 'woman on the inside'. She handed out invitations that Rachel made and handed them out at school to a bunch of people. Rachel and I sat in boxes, waiting in very uncomfortable positions for a good 15 minutes until everyone was in the room. Emily said the code signal ( which was "this is gonna be awesome"; quite and average and inconspicuous phrase) and Rachel and I jumped out of our hiding places and both surprised and confused everyone there. The look on their faces was priceless.
Friday: Campout. We went to this nice mans cabin, and played pool, foosball, air hockey, and card games all night, along with watching Galaxy Quest. We all slept up in the very high loft.
Saturday: Day 2 of campout. We went snowmobiling. It was barrels of fun. Except for the one time when Blake crashed us into a big ditch and we both flew over the handle bars. I didn't get hurt, but it scared the life out of me.
After returning from the campout, I went to Sweethearts with a lovely young lady named Ally Melendez. It was SUCH a fun night. We started by eating dinner with one hand handcuffed to our dates. We were only allowed to eat with our handcuffed hand. If I were to liken the speed of my eating to an animal, I would definitely be a snail. Eating lefty-style is super hard.
After dinner, we played some Minute to Win It games and went to the dance.
At the dance, I felt like I had so much energy that I'm pretty sure I never had, because afterwards, I was dead. I danced my face of the entire time, and I'm paying for it now. My neck is stiff as an old tootsie-roll. Same with my upper and lower back. My mid-back though, It's doing well. Virtually unscathed from my flailing dance moves.
Today: I received my Eagle Scout Award. It's official. The Court of Honor was actually really fun and entertaining. I felt really good about myself the entire time and I was very happy to see all the people that came to support me.
One of the greatest weeks of my life.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
On Wednesday my new guitar will be here. Every time I think about it I get butterflies in my stomach because I'm so excited. Is it true love, you ask? Yes, I think it is.
Don't worry, I have a full body shot.
