I came home to find that the power was out in my h
ouse. I knew the lights wouldn't work, but whenever I walked into a room, I flipped the light switch on and nothing happened. I thought it was kinda funny how automatic that was for me. Do you think about turning on the lights as you walk into a room? Prolly not. After about ten minutes of getting home I didn't know what to do, I walked into the living room SEVERAL times, and every time I walked in I realized that the TV wouldn't work. So I resorting to walking into the storage room, of course trying to turn on the lights to no avail, and blindly feeling for a bad of goldfish. After I got the bag I waltzed into my room and got on my bed for a little nap and some snackies. When I was almost asleep, I was wondering wh
en the power would come back on and INSTANTLY ( I kid you not ) the power came back. In turn, this made my stereo's disk cha
nger start to turn and twist which produced a really loud and displeasing noise that scared the tar out of me.
This week has been pretty busy for me. I haven't been busy with homework, but with things like Zak's Eagle project and things like that, although school ha
s been a factor as well. I've found that when I'm busy with things other than school, it doesn't really stress me out, but if you so much as mention a school related word it just turns on the switch in my brain that says "Make small tasks seeming life ruining!". Other things just don't seem so strenuous. I wonder why that is. I've noticed I've been volunteering for things lately that I probably usually wouldn't if I was using my teenager brain. I've had some great experiences so far
this week. Mindset is a huge factor in work.

I'll have you know I volunteered to do concessions at the BYU game on Saturday for the sole purpose of making friends. I'm sure that will turn out well.
Challenge of the Day: Change your mindset and try to look through a new perspective about something you really don't enjoy, maybe it'll help. :)
Later Gators

so, as the light went on in your head, the light went on in the room?
